How to remove your data from PerformNoti?

This article explains how you can have your data deleted from PerformNoti’s database. As a PerformNoti user, you may request us to remove your data under your GDPR Right to be forgotten (also called Right to Erasure) or because you no longer want to use PerformNoti.

WHAT DATA OF YOURS ARE STORED IN PERFORMNOTI?

For the core of its functionality, PerformNoti stores your account data along with some of the settings of your Google Form and information on your workflow data (e.g., recipients, conditions, etc.). These are essential data for PerformNoti, to assist you in automatically sending notification emails.

As a Data Processor (in GDPR terminology), PerformNoti only stores the minimal data of its users (Data Controllers).

WHAT IS YOUR RIGHT TO BE FORGOTTEN (RIGHT TO ERASURE) AS PER GDPR?

GDPR says that, as a Data Controller, you have the right to have your data erased and to prevent further processing by your Data Processor (in this case, PerformNoti).

In compliance with article 17 of GDPR, we must delete all your data at your request.

WHEN CAN YOU ASK TO GET YOUR DATA DELETED FROM PERFORMNOTI?

Deleting your data, which is necessary for PerformNoti to provide its service, will interrupt its functionality. So you may request to get your data deleted only if you have decided to stop using PerformNoti.

HOW TO GET YOUR DATA FROM PERFORMNOTI DELETED?

You can send us your request for the deletion of your data to [email protected]. We will permanently delete them from our database and send you a confirmation.

CAN YOU DELETE YOUR DATA FROM PERFORMNOTI BY YOURSELF?

DOES REVOKING ACCESS AUTOMATICALLY DELETE YOUR DATA FROM PERFORMNOTI?

At any point, you may review the permissions you have granted for PerformNoti under your Google account’s security settings. If you have decided to revoke your authorizations for PerformNoti, it will prevent PerformNoti from accessing any data of yours, and it will stop its functionality entirely.

DOES REMOVING/UNINSTALLING THE ADD-ON AUTOMATICALLY DELETE YOUR DATA FROM PERFORMNOTI?

PerformNoti archives this data even after the removal, mainly to restrict our users from switching between occasional offers/discounts on our paid plans. This restriction is critical to our business’s success and continuing to improve and support the app.
